Writing?

I need to let this out now, or never. Hehe. I write for fun, but now, I hope to write for living. Sounds good to me. Maybe to all of you, who like to blog, or read other people blog or just like to spend an hour or so, thinking about how you can do to make Earth a better place to live. It happened incidentally. I bid on a project at Get A Freelance, an outlet for IT people to get IT project; web design, scripting etc. I put myself on data entry and translation work, not knowing that most projects offer are IT-based, and I am not an IT person at all (I am an Engineer!!) but I do know HTML, Flash and other website things here and there. So, I bid. Shortly after that, the service buyer asked for my writing samples, and I ended up been paid for my articles!

What I learned after that was I have been wasting too much time while I'm working in the office. I mean when I am in my 'comfort zone' I rarely think outside it. Now I'm here, with tight resources while still determine to get the most for my kids, I did my researches and found out that writing, any kind of writing, whether paid or free, will bring sense of fulfillment to oneself and it is lots of fun. Well, I bet everyone will have fun writing about your kids achievement, your findings and tips and trick handling your children at home, and be paid for. For stay-a-home moms out there, I strongly encourage you to try out, you may have hidden writing talent that you never know of before!
