Hooray!

I received an email this morning from owner of One Year of Writing & Healing, an informative site on writing that my article for Freewriting will be published in their December issue. Very unexpected because I wrote the piece during lunch time and sent it without editing, sent it as it is. She offerred to edit my work though. I was thrilled even though no payment will be given to the contribution. Writing for site like this will increase my credibility that my writing is acceptable and I can gain more exposure in term of writing experience. This is second time that my work, outside of my technical expertise, will be published in the net. The first one was for a business owner who sell cruets. I wroter informative articles for him, 20 altogether and was paid every single piece. Honestly, that was the starting point that I began to realize that I can write for any topics provided I was given time to write. My director, after I came back to work last August, did ask me on how I was doing with my writing at State, the payment, and so on. I told him, and was to busy to start writing again, until recently when my work load is too much, I stop and write to ease the tension before resume work again. I bet it is working perfectly. Try it, then you know what I mean. Satisfaction. Thrill. You will never look back again if you are doing what you love to do.
