Fight, Kiss & Make Up

True. We fight, kiss and make up. Itulah yang terjadi weekend lepas. I am not a good communicator, but DH is a commentator. There are times Venus and Mars collide, literally. Kengkadang aku ni cuma nk cakap je, and tak minta pun komen berbagai esp when it comes to my family matters. Knowing DH for almost 12 years, dia mesti nk komen if he feels things are not right. My kids paham bebeno when their parents talk fast and loud. Although geram to my DH, keje rumah habis jugak and I cooked his favorite meal for lunch. After a while, masa tengah lipat baju, my younger kid, Najihah came to me and said:

Najihah: Mak, kenapa mak sedih?
Me: Ayah marah mak.
Najihah: Nanti mak dah siap lipat baju, panggil adik. Adik nk tolong kemas.

Then she went away, to her dad and said:

Najihah: Ayah, mak bagi adik tolong angkat baju.
Ayah: Ok.

They did help me with the folded clothes and susun atas shelf. Her sister, Nabilah came and hugged me.

After a while, DH came and fixed our bedroom light yg rosak last Friday. Tak semena-mena, Najihah came to him and said:

Najihah: Ayah, jangan marah mak lagi tau. Nanti mak sedih.
DH: emm.. ok.

Then, she ran away happily. The rest of the day was a breeze for me because they both decided to ‘behave’ because mummy is not-very-happy and daddy is not-feeling-well. No snack time (hujan n tk dpt nk keluar rumah pegi pasar borong) and they ate lunch heartily before naptime. I got to watch TV for more than an hour because everyone else in the house was napping. Precious time!

That evening, DH took them to playground and I cooked dinner. The house was unusually quiet only because DH sakit badan pulak and I got to urut him few times and make sure he did not catch any fever during the night. Emm.. tk jadik lah nk gaduh panjang and by this morning, everything backs to normal.

So much of fight, kiss and make up. Tak pernah nye gaduh lama even before we got married in 2003. Haha. Love you DH, and my precious angels. Muuahhs!

Side note: Sometimes fighting gives you time to reflect yourself. I never want DH to be like my late father. But I never thought that DH thinks that I am becoming my mother. I am not my mother. Then I realize that I am not being myself and I am still grieving of my late father. Everyone is different and I need to learn more to accept people just the way they are.
