Hectic weekends!

I went into my office and heard my phone ringing.. hesitated for a while before picking it up and heard familiar voice at the other end.. a person whom I reluctant to speak to and avoiding him as much as I can *sigh*.. Oh well, life goes on.. business as usual.. How I wish the weekends never end.. emm..

I had a wonderful hectic weekend with my precious Nabila and my beloved husband.. since we live far away from each other, weekend is the only time that three of us can meet each other.. well, my baby stays with me almost everyday.. but she can only meet her father during weekends.. it is sad but life must *sigh* goes on..

We took a night flight on Friday.. the flight was delayed for an hour.. Nabilah was restless while at the waiting lounge but she was wonderful that night.. her first time on-board.. she slept throughout the flight.. no crying no screaming whatsoever.. just nice.. unlucky for me, got stomachache that night coz' I had a very very late supper.. next morning I was exhausted..

My husband bought me 'nasi kerabu' breakfast.. a 'must-have' dish while staying in terengganu.. the day started well, Nabilah played with her father almost all the time he's near.. her eyes can't stop looking, following her father's trail as if saying "I want to go with you, it was so much fun".. but he went to work anyway..

One thing I noticed over there, the weather was terribly hot! Hotter than what I used to grouse about in KL.. I sweat a lot, and Nabilah can only sleep with fan on like helicopter fan. She was fussy throughout the day and slept a little at noon.. Evening came, we brought her (her father's idea actually..) to clinic for her 4-months injection.. I was reluctant at first because I prefer to have her immunisation at the same clinic we used to bring her to. But since it may be too late as she's already 4-months last week, the doctor at Pusat Perubatan Intan gave her a jab on her butt.. Screaming, and screaming for a minute and then she stopped.. That night, her temperature went up and she could not sleep, woke us up at 2 a.m crying and screaming.. at 4 a.m. we gave her another 1.5ml fever medicine.. I stayed with her until Subuh, so that my hubby can get some sleep before going to work.. it was a beginning of a tiring day..

Some people say she may not get used to the new place (my husband rented a house nearby the uni).. that is why she's not feeling that well.. I agree on that because at noon, she was getting better, less fever and started to play as usual (she can lie on her front since last Friday and roll over). Since it was too hot, we decided to go to Faizal's wedding at 3 p.m. (that's the ultimate reason why Nabilah and I went to Terengganu last weekend!)..

Zura look radiant with her nice 'sanggul'. The bersanding ceremony was late, we tried to miss it but ended up walking with the groom to meet the bride.. Nabilah was amused (I suppose so, as she was observing very hard almost all the time) with the colours, crowd and sound (there was a 'kompang' group accompanying the 'pengantin).. that night she slept very well. I guess she got used to the new place eventually..

We went to Nasi Ayam Hailam stall for lunch the next day. The service was bad, my husband had to take our lunch by himself. The waitresses were too slow. Nabilah was less fussy and kept amusing herself with moving leaves and trees' branches.. late in the evening, I waited outside the house with Nabilah in my arms for her father.. He was late but my poor little baby still want to wait for her father before going to sleep. As she was drifting to sleep, my husband came home and I can see joy in her eyes to see her father..

A return trip home was fun but as usual, tiring! A day flight gave Nabilah more opportunities to look at things, learn and amuse herself.. until my husband had to take her wandering along the aisle in the ERL just to keep her silent.. she slept in the taxi on our way back to my office.. finally...

Being a full time housewife (minus the cooking as my hubby ask me not to cook.. lucky me!) for the last 3 days taught me that my baby needs to see her father as frequent as possible.. and we need to see each other as often as possible.. I pitied myself as I cannot leave my current job so that 3 of us can be together, stay in the same house until next year.. next year, insyaallah.. I do pray that our hopes and wishes will come true eventually.. for now, we will do whatever we can spend quality time together. Amiin...

EXHAUSTED!!

I haven't yet solved my problems with the database.. the errors are killing me and my brain. How I wish to give the job to someone else.. but no one else want to take up this work escept me (perhaps they knew what it takes doing 8-hour job staring the data to be downloaded).. I had a very long morning, with hours of presentation and discussion. My desk is messy with working papers and notes. I have to clean-up sooner or later.. anyway, it doesn't matter anymore. I'm going to UK in July for a week.. something to look forward to despite my overloaded work. Sometimes you can never expect things that are waiting in front of you. Hehe.

Going home now, Nabila is waiting for her mommy! Adios!

My first entry..

This is exciting! Never thought that I myself will have my own blog spot.. hehehe.. I've been reading other people's blogs, ideas, comments and everything since last year. I like Najah's blogs, her truly interesting writing inspired others. Why am I here? To blog. Hehe. Honestly? I am frustrated with the amount of work thrown to me by others.. I can do all the work but I don't have the energy as much as I've before. With Nabila around, things are pretty busier for me.
