Quite Friday noon..

I attended 2 hours lectures on 2 closed projects reviews this morning.. one of my friends likes the Japanese Cotton that I’m selling on my Facebook, so, now I need to coordinate the buying and selling process lah.. I love the Japanese Cotton and bought one for my eldest daughter.. the younger daughter will have to wait.. slowly but surely lah.. the selling part for the kain is just for fun, but I am still the authorized distributor for Perfume For All perfume essence for Bangi area, be it rain or shine.. so, klu nk try perfume essence ni boleh lah order di NabilaHouse.com.. and the Japanese cotton stock is limited, grab fast or you’ll get the kain at higher price somewhere else.. my price? Email me lah at nabilahouse(at)gmail.com for details J

Okay, actually nk menulis about today’s events.. I had breakfast with my favorite section head, AAR and frens.. but unfortunately kena bagi comment on improvement of his presentation, terpaksalah kan even though I did not want to.. kesian kat my section head tuh.. but GM tanya kenalah response.. then, my DH asked to pick him up at Toyota Service Center because the Avanza won’t be ready until 5pm.. went to Maybank and cleared the Cheque, went to Bank Rakyat to settle the monthly payment and lunch at Asam Pedas @ Seksyen 8 Bangi.. dah lama tk lunch 2 orang jer.. what a day.. and we got like few hundreds more to survive for 2 weeks.. emm.. very challenging indeed but I am happier that the major payment has been paid.. except the insurances will have to wait for our stock profits.. hehehe.. oh lupa pulak, my bosses are gone to listen for another presentations the whole afternoon, no wonder the afternoon is so quite J J

Btw, the ‘love-hate’ relationships with the emails have stopped. I have sent a few and received none in return. Need to find another email pal lah J

Japanese Cotton

I suddenly had an idea of getting myself and my kids minus my DH to wear Japanese Cotton baju kurung for the next Hari Raya.. I went to PKNS Bangi, and found several outlets selling the Japanese cotton kain ela but most of them sold out including the ready-made baju kurung.. only one outlet selling the baju for only RM95, which is cheap.. ikutkan hati nak je pegi PKNS and buy one for the coming Friday meeting (AKP assessors will be there..) but rethinking that will be wasteful for having a nice baju kurung to show off on Friday instead of very big event, so cancel lah.. I ordered online one pair for Nabilah, normal design for Japanese cotton but very pinky indeed.. she likes pink so much. It is cheap, only RM25 per pair and definitely worth buying for the kids. Najihah likes blue, green, orange or yellow but not pink.. so, I will have to scour around for her Japanese cotton baju kurung in a week or so, definitely before bulan puasa because at that time, no more good bargain and I’ll have to settle for apape yg ada je lah.. but my own Japanese cotton baju kurung will be in pink or peach colored or anything pastel.. I will need DH to wear his cream colored baju melayu and we are good for a nice family photo during hari raya.. and I can wear it again for my graduation perhaps.. hehehe..

And now I am thinking, I should stop writing to my email partner and stop feeding him with my accomplishment.. no good reason actually, I just felt that we are so used to email each other and we have stopped talking and I just ignore him when I passed him by.. hahaha.. teruk-kan.. so, got to stop emailing and start to write my research work instead.. but I will definitely miss the encouragement given thru emails that I can read over and over again when I am down or just feeling miserable.. there goes my love-hate relationship with the emails..

Tomorrow will be AKP assessment and I am not done yet with the proposal.. the site work today was really hot although very brief.. I knew what I want and what should I do .. the beriani gam was delicious and now I am feeling dizzy a bit because of the ‘kambing besar sangat’ on my plate.. what a Wednesday morning!

Personal correspondence

Sometime the work load was too much that I drifted away not doing anything because my mind think too fast that what my hands can write down or type away. I always look out for opportunity to share the trouble with people who understood the pressure of being the ‘chosen one’ although it was not unintentionally. Besides my DH and a handful of close friends, no one actually understands me to help out of the ‘mind boggling’ problem. I found one person, who mentored me years ago when I was a university student trying my hands on engineering stuffs. We rarely spoke, although we are working at the same workplace, until one day I was awarded with unexpected trophy and the emails started coming in. Not many congratulate me, most gave cynical look ‘how on earth she won that title, she barely exists in this company’. Well, rezeki masing-masing lah. It’s good that I have someone out of my circle of friends that I can email to share interesting findings, news, doldrums etc and cheering each other in our own way. Still, I rarely speak to this person but writings are the only means that we communicate. I am a loner, truly I am. That’s my way, whether you like it or not.

p/s: no Secret Recipe cake this Friday for our group L but at least we have teamwork going on a large scale compare to other units..

Najihah's Fever

I should write down what has happened to her since Friday afternoon:

Friday 3rd July – teacher called saying that Najihah has a fever and already given her paracetamol. DH took her home early that evening. That night, she slept in her aircond bedroom and I put on wet towel on the forehead few times throughout the night.

Note: I remembered eating two table spoons of Hiraq the night before (just to finish the bottle – I hate seeing near empty bottle on the shelf) then Najihah’s feverish symptoms started.

Saturday 4th July – Four doses of paracetamol but she was still feverish. Not that active but getting better after each dose. She was reluctant to eat rice for lunch and ate lots of porridge at night. We put on Cool Fever Sticker on her forehead and she started sleeping in our bedroom (with no air-cond).

Sunday 5th July – She looked better but still feverish. We brought her to another doctor and her temperature was 37.9C which was quite high. Her nose bled that morning. In the evening, she looked energetic and wanted to go to the playground. I brought her for a short time and we went inside just before dark. She ate more porridge but look tired. We administered another four doses of paracetamol and 2 doses of PEACE syrup throughout the day and night. She drank lots of Nutri Tea with Wolfberry.

Monday 6th July – She has no fever, her body already cooled down and went to school. She did not do much at school (her teacher told us). I took her home and she ate noodles and rice with soup for dinner. She slept early with Cool Fever sticker on her forehead.

Tuesday 7th July – DH called about Najihah’s nosebleed and her tongue’s ulcer. Poor baby. Asked DH to buy young coconut and will ask her to drink a lot of plain water today. And maybe buy the ECPI water some more.

.. to be continued.
